Plastisol produces bodies made from GRP, which stands for Glass-fibre Reinforced Polyester. This composition of materials is realized in a vacuum injection process developed by Plastisol itself. The glass fibre material, either or not in combination with foam cores, is injected with resin. After curing an exceedingly strong sandwich of materials results, that can subsequently be treated with for instance paint in any desired colour.
All Plastisol body parts are fully self-supporting constructions that are mounted on the original chassis with metacones.
